Why Milestone Movements?

We are a team of allied health professionals working together to provide holistic services to the children and families across East Arnhem land. We work within the clinic space, East Arnhem Kids Hub alongside two other allied health businesses so that we can operate as one large allied health team, offering OT, physio, speech, literacy support, psych, play therapy and allied health assistance.

What’s the role?

• Oversee a flexible caseload, including NDIS and private clients
• Independently manage OT caseloads
• Prescribe equipment and home modifications
• Engage with schools and communities to provide meaningful support and intervention
• Primarily overseeing paediatric clients, but with the potential to see adults as well. An interest in mental health is also appealing.

Is this the right role for you?

• At least one year’s relevant experience
• Undergraduate or post graduate qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Current AHPRA Registration
• Current National Police Clearance & Working with Children’s check
• Current Australian Driver’s License
• The role may involve outreach trips to remote communities via 4wd or light aircraft

Situated in East Arnhem Land, along the Gove Peninsula, Nhulunbuy is a relaxed, coastal town with the opportunity for nature-based activities such as boating, fishing, and camping. The community is welcoming and warm and thrives off taking care of one another.
NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
