Who we are

Hunter Coast Therapy is a heart-led, people-first allied health service based in Adamstown, NSW. Established in 2022 as a Husband-and-Wife duo who were disenchanted with being a ‘number’ in larger corporations. HCT was built as a therapy business with heart and soul. We proudly make ‘dumb’ business decisions. But instead make ‘smart’ people decisions. Year on year we have added extra members to our family who also have this same desire to put people first. Now we have 16 special therapists working for our community and you could be the next.

We’re a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that supports children, young people, and their families through Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, and Physiotherapy services — and we’re excited to expand our support with the introduction of a new Counselling role.

We don’t refine ourselves to a clinical room or community only. We believe in therapy delivered where best fit. This can be at our friendly space, in the school, at the park, home or in the ocean. Check out some of our unique groups including Sense Rugby, surf therapy and nature-based therapy. We provide the tools for you to be creative and innovate.

Our approach is playful, person first, and values driven. We prioritise relationships, meaningful outcomes, and creating a happy workplace where both clients and team members thrive.
