Job Description

An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Occupational Therapist - Advanced (Primary Contact Upper Limb) to join the Occupational Therapy Team at the Bundaberg Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 200,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:

  • To deliver advanced level and independent primary contact upper limb occupational therapy, clinical consultancy, clinical management, and care coordination to patients of Bundaberg Hospital.
  • To deliver professional leadership in an acute setting including clinical practice supervision of less experienced therapists and clinical support staff.
  • To independently manage the day-to-day service delivery of their primary contact occupational therapy service, ensuring quality outcomes in collaboration with the Director of Occupational Therapy and the Orthopaedics team.

Temporary Part Time (30.4 hours p.f.) from the date of appointment for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $69,046 p.a., comprising salary between $57,996 - $60,515 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5) (Temporary Part Time, 30.4 hours p.f., from the date of appointment for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy).
