Occupational Therapist

About the position

Join Territory Therapy Solutions as an Occupational Therapist and make a real difference across diverse settings in the Northern Territory. Based in Darwin, you’ll provide comprehensive assessments and interventions for individuals with spinal cord injuries, strokes, traumatic brain injuries, amputations, neurodegenerative conditions, congenital disabilities, and complex traumas.

You will provide client-centred, culturally responsive care across a variety of landscapes, including clinic appointments, home visits, and extended outreach trips. This role offers the opportunity to travel by 4WD or light aircraft to reach remote communities delivering unique and rewarding professional experiences.

What we offer

1. Competitive remuneration: salary package between AU $85,000 – 135,000, depending on experience.

2. Relocation assistance: up to AU $3,000 support where applicable

About you

• Tertiary‑qualified in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor or higher) and registered with AHPRA.

• you could be a new graduate, early career and or experienced therapists to apply

• Experience or interest in the assessment and treatment of people with complex physical disability (e.g. stroke, spinal cord injury, amputations, neurological conditions).

• Ability to deliver assistive technology and home modification assessments

• Skilled or interested in upper limb and cognitive assessments, evidence‑based interventions, and training carers or support workers.

• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong report‑writing ability, and a collaborative, resourceful approach.

• Commitment to cultural safety and remote community practice.

• Holding or able to obtain: NT driver’s licence, criminal history check/ochre card, First Aid & CPR certifications; knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.

• Experience working with NDIS, aged care, TCP and third party insurance agencies. Additional skills, such as familiarity with Salesforce (Lumary) or postgraduate credentials in clinical rehabilitation or home modifications, are an advantage
