Occupational Therapist

North West Therapy Services is seeking highly motivated Occupational Therapists to join their dynamic private practice. The successful applicant will be employed on a permanent full or part time basis (depending on applicants preference) with flexible working hours up to 38 hours per week. Remuneration will be based on experience commencing at $50 per hour for new graduates up to $75 per hour for senior clinicians (plus superannuation).

We provide our staff with complete flexibility in their role. Work from our clinic or from home, start work at 8am or 10am. Work whatever hours suit you! 

North West Therapy Services is located in Devonport on the North West coast of Tasmania. We provide a comprehensive allied health service to children and adults living on the North West Coast of Tasmania. We deliver exciting outreach services to the remote west coast and King Island. We are currently seeking therapists to work in both our paediatric and adult teams.

Duties of this position include assessment and intervention for all functional difficulties across domains of self-care, productivity, and leisure. This position will also be required to provide assessment and professional recommendation for complex equipment and wheelchair prescription. Ongoing supervision will be provided and access to professional development supported.

The successful applicant must have completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or equivalent qualification and be registered with AHPRA. A current working with children/vulnerable people check and national police check will also be required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
