About the opportunity 

Join a compassionate multidisciplinary team delivering holistic mental health care to individuals experiencing homelessness in Townsville. 

The Homeless Health Outreach Team (HHOT) provides mental health and dual diagnosis services to individuals experiencing homelessness or unstable housing. The team works across crisis accommodation, shelters, and rehabilitation settings, offering outreach and shared care with other homelessness agencies. 

As an Occupational Therapist, you will: 

• Deliver comprehensive mental health assessments, case management, and interventions 
• Provide clinical education and contribute to service development 
• Work collaboratively across services to support continuity of care 
• Promote cultural safety and inclusive practice 

What’s on offer? 

Permanent full-time position, 76 hours per fortnight. 

Remuneration package (HP3) includes: 

• Fortnightly salary of $3,030.00 – $4,453.50
