Job Description

✨ Experienced OT? Ready for a Role That Actually Supports You?

Join our passionate team of OTs at Kid Sense – where professional development, flexibility, and team connection come standard.
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Occupational Therapist to work across our vibrant, custom-designed clinics in West Lakes and Glenelg.

👋 About Us – Kid Sense Child Development

Kid Sense is a well-established, values-driven practice offering Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology services from toddlers through to young adults (up to 25 years).
We support kids and young people in clinics, the community, schools, homes, and via telehealth — with a strong reputation for neurodiverse-affirming, inclusive therapy.

With six metro locations, each custom-designed for sensory and play-based therapy, we provide clinics packed with resources and spaces that encourage creativity, connection, and movement.

💬 Why Our Team Stays (and Grows)

We believe in "constant and never-ending improvement" — not just for our clients, but for our team too. That’s why we offer:

  • A generous individual PD budget (spend it your way – courses, books, or tools that support your learning style)

  • Quarterly whole-team PD days – stay at the forefront of best practice without sacrificing your weekends

  • 1:1 supervision and structured onboarding – feel confident and supported from day one

  • Leadership pathways if you want to grow your influence and impact

🌟 What You’ll Love

  • Work your way – flexible hours, WFH options, TOIL accrual

  • Fully equipped treatment rooms – all resources provided (including laptop + iPad)

  • Paid admin time – no more “doing notes” outside of work hours

  • Mental health support through EAP

  • Sign-on bonus for experienced therapists

  • Annual salary reviews

  • Incentive Policy - if you want to earn more

  • Parental leave policy + individual accommodations for work-life alignment

  • Regular team social events – because connection matters

  • Parking onsite + uniforms provided

  • Walking distance to cafés + shops at most locations

🧠 Who You Are

You’re an experienced OT (paeds background welcome but not required), with:

  • AHPRA general registration + OT Australia membership

  • A love of working with children, teens and young adults

  • A strength-based, solution-focused mindset

  • Confidence in both team and solo settings

  • A passion for making therapy engaging, functional, and fun

  • Interest in supporting clients with:

    • Neurodivergence (Autism, ADHD)

    • Developmental or learning delays

    • Sensory processing needs

    • Functional capacity assessments

Whether you're looking to deepen your clinical practice or pivot into a role with more purpose and less burnout, we’d love to connect.
