Are you a passionate, early-career occupational therapist ready to make a difference? CHATS – Children’s Health and Therapy Services (previously Chatterbox Australia Therapy Services) is expanding our innovative programs and preparing to open our brand new, boutique-style, purpose-built centre in 2026. We have opportunities for Grade 1, Grade 2 and New Graduates to join our friendly, multidisciplinary team and grow with us!

Celebrating over 20 years of service, Chatterbox Australia Therapy Services is one of Melbourne’s most established paediatric therapy clinics. We’re known for our holistic, family-centred approach and our commitment to evidence-based, collaborative care. Our multidisciplinary team includes speech pathologists, occupational therapists, group therapy program facilitators, art therapy, music therapy and performing arts educators—all united by a mission to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and their families.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Manage a varied paediatric caseload, conducting assessments and delivering individual and group therapy sessions under supervision.

Work closely with families, educators, and experienced allied health professionals to develop and implement effective intervention plans.

Participate in the design and delivery of group therapy programs, gaining hands-on experience in evidence-based practice.

Receive ongoing support, supervision, and professional development opportunities to build your skills and confidence.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold high standards of client care.
ABOUT YOU
-
Recently completed (or soon to complete) a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.

Current (or pending) AHPRA registration.

Strong communication skills, empathy, and a collaborative spirit.

Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a positive team culture.

Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mentor others (Grade 2 position)

Strong communication skills, with a collaborative, adaptable approach.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.

Familiarity with creative, group-based therapy approaches is highly regarded.
