About Us

Play & Thrive is a Brisbane wide mobile Paediatric Occupational Therapy service with fun and connection at the forefront of every session. We provide a neurodiversity affirming, individualised, strength based approach to children’s therapy within their natural environment.

The role

We are a small team that prioritise work life balance, professional development, and caring about the kids we work with. We offer face to face sessions for children in the place that they feel most comfortable; home, school or the community. We value building relationships with the child and families we work with to ensure an individualised, positive and effective service. All levels of experience will be considered; with a focus on finding the right fit rather than experience level. 

Duties will include:

• Providing individualised occupational therapy to a paediatric caseload including assessment and intervention in children’s homes or schools.

• Collaborating with director and liaising with other external health professionals.

• Participating in internal case meetings, supervision and professional development.

• Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately, confidentially, and is maintained at all times.

Essential requirements:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy

• Registration with AHPRA

• Eligibility for membership with OT Australia.

• A current Blue Card

• A current Police check

• Driver’s license and access to a car
