Requirements

About the role:

You will be responsible for providing evidence-based clinical services under the mentoring and guidance of a highly trained and experienced Leadership Team and make a real difference in the lives of children and/or adults with developmental delay and/or disability. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This role will be responsible for day-to-day clinical services within the Therapy, Education and Support Services team
  • Clinical service delivery under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
  • Engage in and lead clinical work that is guided by evidence-based practice
  • Develop and communicate ideas for innovation and improvement
  • Recognise and support cultural, spiritual and neurodiversity of customers
  • Ensure clear customer documentation
  • Work collaboratively, with enthusiasm, recognising contributions from all members of the team
  • Actively participate in staff supervision process
  • Participate in student placements
  • Be solution-focused, honest and responsive to new directions and program requirements

Qualifications and experience

  • Ideally, you would have 5+ years of experience as a Therapist
  • Experience in supporting and mentoring others
  • Bachelor or Masters of Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy
  • Current professional membership with SPA or AHPRA
  • Safety Screening, including WWCC, NDIS Worker Screening Check
