Senior Occupational Therapist - Surgical

The opportunity 
Join a dynamic Allied Health team delivering high-level clinical services across surgical specialties in a tertiary teaching hospital. 

Based at Townsville University Hospital, our Occupational Therapy team provides advanced care across trauma, orthopaedics, burns, plastics, and general surgery. We are a collaborative, innovative, and supportive department committed to excellence in patient care and professional development. 

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will: 

• Deliver high-level clinical services in surgical settings 
• Lead service improvement initiatives 
• Supervise and mentor junior staff 
• Rotate across diverse caseloads including trauma, burns, plastics, orthopaedics, and general surgery

Permanent Full-time position, 76 hours per fortnight.

Remuneration package (HP4) includes: 

• Fortnightly base salary of $4,912.70 – $5,286.40

What You’ll Need 

Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) and registration with AHPRA.
